In List A cricket he claimed 94 wickets in 88 matches, with an economy rate of 5.19, and in T20 took 65 wickets from 82 appearances. In first-class cricket he finished with 132 wickets at 45.56.He was also able to contribute with the bat – such as his 13-ball 33 against Middlesex in the T20 this season – and was used in a variety of positions”Tim has been a very loyal member of our squad over the years, and was a key part of our successful one-day teams,” Paul Grayson, the Essex head coach, said. “I would like to thank him for all his years of service, and wish him the best for the future.”Phillips said: “I have enjoyed my career and the friendships I have made during my 16 years representing Essex but I am really excited to start a new challenge.
