Indie JRPGs That Are Even Better Than Their Triple-A Counterparts
Indie games are an essential part of the games industry, allowing smaller creators to make the exact games they want to make, without a lot of the creative overhead that comes with larger triple-A companies. This leads to some of the most innovative and unique experiences in the entire space, and indie JRPGs are no different.
Taking inspiration from classic fan-favorites like Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger, and many others, indie JRPGs have been at an all-time high in the past few years, and we’d like to take a moment to talk about some of the best we’ve played. In some cases, these games are even better than their triple-A counterparts or even the games that inspired them.
